Darquise Lafrenière, a member of the OMICS-ETHICS research group, will be presenting at the Seventh International Conference on Interdisciplinary Social Sciences which will be held at Universidad Abat Oliba CEU in Barcelona, Spain from 25-28 June 2012. In her talk, entitled Ethics of Knowledge Translation: One Step Forward, she will discuss the most salient ethical issues encountered at each step of the knowledge translation process. She will provide concrete examples by commenting on a current project aimed at disseminating the findings of a recent study on the socio-ethical issues raised by nutrigenomics research and its applications.
